Originally developed to mirror the fermented pineapple base of tepache for the El Palenque cocktail by Sam Jimenez in the Fall for Mezcal box from Shaker & Spoon, this shrub is a combination of sweet, creamy pineapple and tart apple cider vinegar balanced with just enough cane sugar and finished with a hint of cinnamon and clove. It's our new favorite!
