Electric Lilac -

Honeysuckle Vines -
The wild vines bloom seemingly before your eyes. That magic that goes unnoticed & in the blink of an eye...the bloom is abound. That honey sweet air & spice of the woodlands around. Tiny trumpets sing sweet melodies of white & yellow. The night brings smoke & the nearby gardens grow green with fresh garden herbs.

Mariner Deep -
Set sail in fathoms blue, where the deep turns black like the night sky. On a ship, glistening with the diamond light of the setting moon, navigating the Pacific with a bounty of spice & exotic wood, we head towards daylight. We look ahead for the promise of an ocean view, cradled by her cool embrace. Soon land will come. Those aqua-green waters on an island made of black lava. The perfumed air is sweet but not like the sweetness of deep, dark water.

Narcissus Nocturne -
Roman soldiers ate narcissus bulbs before battle to numb their senses. Socrates called the flowers "crown of the infernal gods" because of these narcotic qualities. My mother planted hundreds of these in the garden & they remind me of spring. The dreamy colors of the season shining in the golden sun. The mystical aura brought upon nature when they bloom. Some kind of wonder between realms. Breath deep the narcissus nocturne.
